§ 02 · The method

Rigorous diagnosis,
elegant conclusions.

Three unhurried parts. Begins the moment you arrive; ends with a palette you keep for life.

i.

Consultation

An unhurried 150-minute appointment in north-facing daylight. I read your skin, hair, and eyes against a full set of professional drapes — no guesswork, no online approximations.

ii.

Classification

I assess your undertone, value, and chroma across three separate axes. The 12-season system places you with precision, and I explain the reasoning as we go.

iii.

Your profile

A printed colour profile covering your palette, wardrobe pairings, makeup shades, metals, and jewellery. A digital copy follows by email.

§ 03 · The twelve seasons

Spring, Summer, Autumn,
and Winter.

Most people know the four seasons. The system used here is a refinement of those — twelve sub-seasons, organised by undertone, value, and chroma. Each comes with its own coherent palette of around thirty colours.

§ 04 · About Rebecca

Trained as a doctor.
Now a certified colour practitioner.

The work is less about saying yes to colours than about understanding the reasons for the yes.

Rebecca Sells trained and practised as a clinical medical doctor before moving into medical technology, then took time away from work after having children. A colour analysis — given as a gift — was the unexpected beginning of a second career. The analytical instincts that medicine trained are what drive the method here: each appointment works through undertone, value, and chroma in sequence, with the reasoning explained at every step.

Every appointment at The Colour Doc is with Rebecca. There is no junior, no assistant. Colour analysis is fundamentally a matter of trained perception, and that perception is what you are paying to spend time with.
